Comments : I have one greyhound who has retired, and came across your site.
I was absolutely moved to tears by your story about Sam, such a tragic thing. My greyound is 11 Years old now, and it makes you really respect and love the breed so much as they are gentle and loving natured dogs.
Along with the Greyhound, we now have German Shorthaired Pointers and also have a cat. Its quite funny that the cat loves our Greyhound but not the GSP!

Comments : Great site. Your stories are so well written - I cried my eyes out over Sam. I had my girl of 13 yrs put down in Sept last year, hardest thing I have ever had to do! The only positive is that a month later I adopted my first Grey - something I had been wanting to do for years. They are THE most wonderful animal and I can't see myself ever having a different breed.

Comments : Hi again.I sent a message in a few weeks ago about Lewis my amazing Greyhound. I sadly had to have him put to sleep today,due to having cauda equina syndrome for the third time this year.It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I keep looking out the window for him down at the lake as he always loved to stand in it looking up at our house.I know he is pain free now.He will always be in my heart.

I have an old Greyhound that I've had 13 yrs now.Lewis is his name and he even let the rabbit do the jig with his head and the budgie sit on his back like a little jockey, thats how gentle he is.We love him greatly.
