Comments : Hi Anne, your story about Sam made me cry. Know all about a grey stealing into a heart. I have had many dogs over the years and loved them all but I have had a retired grey for the last 4 yrs [she is now 10] and they are a breed apart. I also have 2 dog-wise cats and they soon earned her respect & let her know it was not a good idea to think of them as 'lunch'!
Lucy is a laid back dark brindle and my constant companion. At the moment she has a back problem - brought on by a mad dash round a field - thought to be caudia equina syndrome which I am hoping will benefit from rest during the next few weeks. She is, of course, taking full advantage of the situation by being pampered!
